Anker F2600 vs. C1000 + BP1000: which fits the outage?

The publisher owns both systems, but has not completed the same-load field test. This comparison therefore uses official specifications and one visible planning model—not a hands-on verdict.

The BP1000 adds energy; it does not raise the original C1000's inverter output. It is also not compatible with the C1000 Gen 2. Model-generation compatibility must be verified before purchasing an expansion battery.

One transparent refrigerator + Wi-Fi model

Use the same planning load from the C1000 refrigerator guide: 960Wh per day for a refrigerator plus 480Wh per day for modem and Wi-Fi. That totals 1,440Wh per day, or a 60W daily average. For this unmeasured comparison, use 85% of rated capacity and then preserve a 10% reserve.

In this model, the F2600 retains about 343Wh more planned energy, equal to roughly 5.7 additional hours at the assumed 60W average. These are calculator outputs—not observed Backup Power Finder runtimes or guaranteed results.

Solar changes replenishment, not the battery-only result

The original C1000 accepts up to 600W of solar input, while the F2600 is rated for up to 1,000W. The owned PS400 panel has a 400W nameplate. That does not mean either system will receive 400W continuously: weather, angle, shade, cell temperature, wiring, state of charge, and the station's input behavior all affect accepted energy.

Run the battery-only comparison first. Then record the PS400's accepted watts and total watt-hours added through a defined day. Do not add nameplate watts directly to runtime.

The field test that will settle the comparison

    Hold the load constant.

    Use the same refrigerator and Wi-Fi equipment, outlet meter, room-temperature range, door-opening schedule, station settings, and cable arrangement.

    Begin at the same state.

    Charge both systems to 100%, confirm firmware and energy-saving settings, use the same reserve or shutdown endpoint, and document battery condition.

    Run battery-only first.

    Record start time, displayed and metered load, compressor starts, elapsed time, ending charge, energy delivered, warnings, and any shutdown.

  4. 4
    Add the PS400 second.

    On a separate run, record weather, placement, accepted power through the day, energy added, and every interruption.

    Publish the miss as well as the hit.

    Compare observed runtime with the planning result and retain the raw log even if the preferred system underperforms.
